Unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) enable fast and safe airborne reconnaissance. The ADS-12 unmanned airships set new standards in this field and open up new military application fields, e.g. the monitoring of conflict areas, borders or coastal regions. The autonomous ADS-12 unmanned airships transport powerful EO and IR camera systems up to a height of 1,000 to 2,000 metres above ground and offer relatively long flying times (up to 8 hours), a vibration-free camera platform as well as safe and economic operation.
