Surveillance airships

One of the numerous advantages of ADS-12 airship systems is their especially safe and quiet operation above populated areas and crowds. The unmanned airship can stay airborne for up to eight hours and while in flight constantly transmits high-resolution daylight and infrared images to ground control. A GPS autopilot, especially developed for these airships, can guide it autonomously along pre-programmed waypoints.

Civil application options include among others the monitoring of large events, cities, forests, beaches, public areas, traffic junctions, power lines, pipelines, or catastrophes. The unmanned airship is transported in its full size on a trailer and therefore quickly ready for operation, which saves costs.
